The Able to Play playground was completed in July 2006 in collaboration with several community organizations.

A $150,000 challenge grant was received from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation and helped the JLK build a boundless, fully accessible playground in Kalamazoo’s Upjohn Park where children of all abilities can laugh, play and grow together.
