In 2006 a collaboration with Memories Bridal & Evening Wear and the Junior League of Kalamazoo helped to provide gently used gowns and accessories to referred junior and senior high school girls in the Kalamazoo area. This wonderful project continues today by Memories Bridal and JLK members still volunteer.

Young ladies who have been referred by local school officials or other community leaders also participate in Boutique Day, where they will be assisted by personal shoppers to find the dress of their dreams.

“Providing attire for this significant event and milestone is a great way to recognize all that these young women have accomplished – staying in school when financial and personal circumstances may make it difficult.” says Adrienne Wissner, former Junior League Member and owner of Memories Bridal & Evening Wear.

Donations Accepted

Donations of gently used gowns and accessories from the public are welcome and accepted throughout the year at Memories Bridal & Evening Wear. Monetary donations or gift certificates dry cleaning are also being accepted and appreciated.
